Dr. Christopher Sims joined Sims Dentistry straight out of dental in 2016. He has loved being able to come into a practice that his father started and build on the great tradition and values of the office. He has seen the attention to detail, compassion, personalization, and passion for high-quality dentistry that has been provided by Dr. Fred and Dr. Seymour. He feels truly blessed to be able to continue to work with and learn from his father who has been a mentor and role model for him. Dr. Chris has a passion for continuing his education where he is able to provide more services to his patients and increase his dental knowledge. He has taken over 100 hours of continuing education since graduating. These have included courses on endodontics, restorative and cosmetic procedures, and many focused on implantology and occlusion. He has also put a major focus of his work in dentistry on working with some of the latest technology that dentistry has to offer. Digital technology allows us to more precise in all of our procedures and also us to track conditions better. This is done by using 3d imaging, digital scanners, and 3D printers, which will soon all be used in our office.
Dr. Chris like his father is a graduate of Trinity High School Class of 2006. He studied biology and played lacrosse at Bellarmine University where he graduated with honors in 2010. He attended the University of Louisville Dental School and graduated in 2016. He is a member of the Louisville Dental Society, Kentucky Dental Association, America Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
He is married to his wife, Katherine, who is also a Louisville native, and they have a newborn son, Bodie. They enjoy spending time with family and friends.
